Anchor Baptist Church Inc. was legally formed on January 11, 1999, when we filed with the SC Secretary of State. Soon after, the church chartered and ratified its governing documents.
Anchor Baptist Church is passionate about ministering to people primarily through spiritual education, worship, fellowship, and also through benevolent care.
Our core mission statement is: “Changing Lives with the Unchanging Word.” We believe that the Word of God (The Bible) is the key to guiding individuals into transformed lives. The Bible is a constant in a shifting society.
We offer many opportunities for spiritual growth and development. We prioritize instruction via the preaching of God’s Word. We encourage mutual accountability among the members. We help members foster deeper relationships with God and one another through one-on-one and group discipleship.
