On Saturday, May 2, 2026, Everette Woodrow Wilson [Woody] became absent from his earthly body and became present with the Lord (2 Cor 5:8). His wife, Elayne, was present with him at Duke Medical Center when he passed.
A funeral service will be held at Mt. Airy Baptist Church, 7209 North Carolina Hwy 72, Pembroke, NC 28372, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 3 pm. There will be a visitation for friends and family from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at the same location.

Please keep Elayne and the family in your prayers. Woody and Elayne came to our church in 2021. They have been faithful for many years in the service of our Lord.
Woody will be remembered for his dry wit and sense of humor, and his love for Christ and Christians.
