Psalm 4:8b says, “Thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.” There is no doubt that our confidence needs to be in God when it comes to our well-being. We still need to be responsible and not careless. We should make preparations as wise stewards but our faith should never drift from God. Proverbs 21:31 “The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.”
Just as we take precautions with our families for safety, so should our church family. We have put in place a group of servants who are being trained to respond to a crisis moment in the ministry. This includes attacks by an aggressor, but also medical emergencies.
Every service of the church will now have trained individuals appointed to be focused on the well-being of the church family.
