We have been picking themes for our morning services. During the first quarter of 2021, we focused each Sunday on a different Action of Worship. In the second quarter, we highlighted some Concepts of Christ. The weekly theme was highlighted on the front cover of each new Sunday bulletin and a corresponding Bible verse was included inside.
As we enter the third quarter of the year, the weekly bulletin will spotlight the different elements of the Lord being our shepherd from Psalm 23. The series is entitled Jesus Tends. We will examine each phrase of the Psalm. As we do, I will make personal applications and offer supporting scriptures. The worship of the morning service will emphasize the theme both in the music and the teaching. Below is a look at the weekly themes. It is our hope that this will be an approach that enriches our worship together. We hope this strengthens your personal walk with the Lord. The Sundays that are omitted will be guest speakers or alternate themes.

I hope you will plan to walk through each of these messages with us at Anchor Baptist Church. I hope you will learn to rejoice in the ways that the Lord Jesus tends to each of his sheep…including you.
