In 1 Corinthians 15:1, Paul declared the Gospel which means “good news.” He then goes on to explain what that good news involves. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
To celebrate the most significant events in history, we are observing the Gospel through some special services on April 18th & 20th.

Our Friday night service will begin at 7 p.m. on April 18th. The focus will be on the cross Jesus bore for us.

On Sunday morning, April 20th, we will begin with breakfast and devotional time at 9:45 a.m. This will be followed by our worship service at 11:00 a.m. Our focus will be on Jesus triumphantly rising from the dead.
The resurrection of Jesus is foundational to the Christian faith. The apostle Paul taught that if the resurrection of Jesus had not happened then our faith would be pointless (1 Cor. 15:14).
We are adopted into God’s family through the resurrection of Christ from the dead in which he paid all our obligations to sin, the law, and the devil, in whose family we once lived. Our old status lies in his tomb. A new status is ours through his resurrection.

NOTE: There will be no 6 PM service on this day, but Adult Bible Studies and Youth Classes will still meet at 10 AM.
There will be an optional children’s church for our young friends who would like to participate during the 11 a.m. service.
