For several months, our nine-member building committee has been working together to arrive at this point in the planning. We have been weighing all of the input from the congregation, meeting with our architect, Robert Cashion, and examining the finances. We are now ready to unveil an artist’s depiction of our planned facility (see below).
Below are schematics of both the first and second floors of the building.

We have estimated the cost of construction in phases. Bear in mind that these are only estimates. Construction costs are always fluctuating.
PHASE | COST* | DESCRIPTION |
---|---|---|
1 | $330,000 | Sitework is complete and the building is dried-in and partially useable. |
2 | $210,000 | The building is useable in all of the main floor areas. |
3 | $390,000 | The exterior enhancements are added and the interior rooms are complete including the second floor. |
4 | $240,000 | The parking lot gets final asphalt and the gym is fully supplied. |
TOTAL | $1,170,000 |
These numbers are for budgeting purposes but we are hopeful that the cost will be less if we are able to utilize some volunteer labor along the way and tweak the design. We hope that this will give you a vision of the direction we believe the Lord is leading our church so that you can pray for the project and pray for the funding. We will be receiving special Heart Stirred Offerings and regular giving to the Building Fund to cover the cost of construction. We do not intend to borrow to build.
