Continually Considering Christ

Eric Peters (Rock of Ages Prison Ministry) relates how recently he was checking for a transmission leak under his car. Arising too quickly, he felt light headed and blacked out. A short time later, he came to leaning against his car tire, adorned with a black mark on his face, and feeling disoriented. Days later, he connected his fainting experience with Hebrews 12:3. Just as we faint physically due to lack of blood to the brain, so spiritually we faint in our faithfulness because of a lack of blood on the brain. We neglect to continually “consider Him” and His blood sacrifice in our behalf. Keep the blood coming to your brain! {synopsis of Feb 15 devotional from “Glow in the Dark”.}
