On the first Sunday of October in 1999, a dozen people signed the charter that officially marked the beginning of Anchor Baptist Church. Since that time, we have celebrated this day as a church family commemorating the Lord’s goodness and faithfulness to our congregation. It is a reminder for us to endeavor to persevere in this world for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.
Join us on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. for a special service of Christ-honoring music and a relevant message from God’s Word by Dr. Mark Batory. We will take time to reflect on moments that remind us of God’s goodness, and we will look at some exciting plans for the future of our church.
Following the morning service, we invite you to a dinner served in our fellowship hall. At 1:30 p.m. we will have a brief concluding service that will feature a time of testimonies by members and friends of ABC.
We will also be receiving our special Heart-Stirred Offering to raise funds for our new Anchor Ministry Center. Prayerfully consider what you might give above your normal stewardship for this project.
