Pursue!

There is more ahead. We must pursue. Our Lord Jesus Christ challenged us as believers to “occupy” until he comes again (Lk 19:13). The Bible also challenges believers to “run” the race before us (Heb 12:1-2). We are also to continually “fight” in faith (1 Tim 6:12). We are far from retiring in our spiritual walk. We must continue to pursue.

Join us on Sunday, October 4, 2020, for the celebration of the 21st anniversary of Anchor Baptist Church. Our theme is “PURSUE.” Here is the plan for the day:

There is no 10 a.m. Sunday School nor 6 p.m. evening service

We hope you can be with us for the entire day as we reflect on God’s goodness over the years and challenge ourselves with future faithfulness.

Visitors and guests are highly encouraged to join us. We would be honored to have you join us for the meal and both of the services. There will be a Junior Church during the morning service and nursery is available for both services.

Carl is married to Becky and together they have three children. They live in Little River, SC where he pastors Anchor Baptist Church.

This week our midweek service will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday (9/30) rather than Wednesday (9/29).  There will be NO services on Wednesday.
