Anchorage Camp Anniversary

The Anchorage Camp is commemorating 50 years since its founding. The celebration day will be Saturday, August 13. We will meet at Anchor Baptist Church at 11:30 a.m. and caravan up. The festivities begin at 10 am if anyone wants to leave earlier. The camp is opening up the facilities and program opportunities for all who come. The format will be family oriented and very similar to a Memorial Day or July 4th celebration. The lake will be available for boat sports, kayaking, etc. Of course, the skating rink, climbing wall, gym activities, Ga-Ga Ball, ax throwing, Kubb, cornhole, and other opportunities will also be available. You can also take a tour of the director’s new home and just sit and relax with friends and family. The camp will be providing one of their famous Anchorage buffet lunches around 1 p.m.  Some local supporting churches will provide a light supper on Saturday evening for those who can stay that long. Don’t miss out.

This week our midweek service will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday (9/30) rather than Wednesday (9/29).  There will be NO services on Wednesday.

This will close in 20 seconds
